From the beginning, our founders wished to shine a spotlight on the incredible talent in Nashville that had not yet risen to the level of stepping onto a major awards show stage like the CMA’s, ACM’s, GRAMMY’s, People’s Choice, EMMY’s, OSCAR’s, etc. So, they created the NASHVILLE UNIVERSE AWARDS where members can nominate candidates in over 25 categories and then vote for their favorite finalists.
Nashville being the home of country music, it is only fitting that the majority of our awards categories are in or related to that genre. But Nashville is also known as Music City – which means there is great talent across many genres of music originating from here; and Nashville is often referred to as the “Third Coast” – which means it is the home of many great film makers, writers, photographers, and painters.
